Overview
To maintain production rates through their Varanus Island (VI) processing hub, our client Santos, required additional gas compression and power generation facilities.WPF was engaged to provide critical support for the testing and commissioning of their new processing hub. This project ensured the facility could maintain its production rates while achieving additional gas compression and power generation capacity. WPF played an extensive role in the preliminary work, mobilisation, installation, function testing and commissioning of the process and ancillary equipment on the facility, to bring it online efficiently and safely.

- Piping & structural materials procurement for on-site repairs and modifications
- Supply of new structural members
- Modified pipe spooling
- Supply of new piping & structural ancillary items
- Manufacture, fit out and SIT of instrument air compressor shed
- Engineering assessments and reporting
- Project management
- Supply of site labour services both on and offshore – all trades including boilermakers, welders, pipefitters, rigger / scaffolders, crane drivers & site supervisors / leading hands
- Procurement and supply of specialised tooling, welding equipment & PPE
- Flange management services
- Sea-fastening – mobilisation & demobilisation services
- On-site installation, tie-ins and repairs.
- Supply of NDT services
- QA-QC documentation including MDR’s for site repairs / works completed.
- General site assistance including clean-up & demobilisation services at job conclusion
