WPF provide ongoing services for the Ningaloo Vision floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel and associated subsea infrastructure, located northwest of Exmouth, Western Australia.
Assisting with repairs to the transformer B, the scope of work is inclusive of design, fabrication, supplying materials, testing and coating for multiple projects as well as offshore modifications and installation. To ensure the safe and efficient restoration of the transformer’s functionality, our offshore team handle the transportation, installation, and modification work on the FPSO, ensuring seamless integration of the newly fabricated components and full functionality of the transformer system.
Multiple aspects of this project were completed on an urgent basis for our client.
- Supply and manufacture materials as needed
- Supply of WPF-designed and tested lifting beam
- Complete mock-up trial lift frame for a transformer installation, along with a WPF-designed and fabricated skating guides to enable the transformers to be moved around the NGV FPSO
- Supply of custom rigging and assisted with lifting plan, this included bespoke low headroom girder trolley manufacture and offshore labour to complete the removal and installation of the new transformer.
- Provide shutdown support services and remedial works to ensure Lloyd’s compliance such as welding in additional structural works in the engine room or piping around the plant.
- Complete general mechanical, advanced rigging and scaffolding works as required
