Overview
WPF have been engaged to support Phase 2 of a decommissioning campaign,tasked with designing and manufacturing specialised tooling for plugging and abandonment (P&A) activities. This phase of the campaign focuses on the safe and efficient sealing of wells to permanently isolate them, ensuring environmental protection and compliance with decommissioning regulations. Our custom-designed tooling is critical to the success of this phase, providing reliable solutions for sealing, capping, and verifying the integrity of the abandoned wells.

Technical details/scope
- Design specialised decommissioning tooling to enable the removal the KNA Drivelock Connectors
- Complete Factory Acceptance tests
- Mobilise equipment to site and remove the KNA Drivelock Connectors to enable the removal of the Christmas tree assemblies and associated infrastructure
- Design, Procure and fabricate bespoke tooling adaptors and lifting gear
